Below you will find a brief overview of bills Defending Utah watched at the state capitol during the 2019 legislative session. You can find out who your rep is and how to contact them about these bills here
On the top left, you will see the bill number. Senate bill if it originates in the Senate or House Bill if it originates in the House. On the right, you will see the original sponsor of the bill with their name underneath their picture.
In the middle of the image you will see a brief description of the bill
On the bottom left of the image you will see Defending Utah’s position. A red “X” if we oppose or a green check if we support the bill. Above each image you will see if it passed or failed.
If you click on the image, it will take you to the Utah legislative website where you can read the bill as well as see and track the bills progress.
We are updating this page regularly, so check back often. There are over 1,200 bills this session to read through, so if you don’t see a bill that should be here, please contact us and let us know about it.
