Fake Meme Claims FEMA/UofU Predicts Earthquake “in 2 hours”

Just after 7am this morning, the Salt Lake valley experienced it’s largest earthquake since the 90’s. As is typical after a major news event, a fake meme started popping up immediately following the earthquake:

In an effort to ensure the truth (whatever it is) is known, Defending Utah went to verify the claims and found that the states emergency management department has addressed the rumor on twitter.

 

It has been over two hours since the the fake meme was first posted, so the government is telling the truth…. this time, about this one thing.
