3. LOGO COPYRIGHT

The logos shown on this page and its variations are copyright Deseret Family Learning, LLC (“DFL”) through the owners of DFL and the Defending Utah brand which has been financed directly by DFL or the owner of DFL.

In early 2014, DFL’s brand Defending Utah ran a public design content, where multiple entries were submitted.

The winner was announced, and can still be seen here: https://99designs.com/logo-design/contests/create-logo-grassroots-liberty-group-371357

After its initial creation, the original logo was acquired from the contest winner (designer Ivan Nikolic), with payment made on April 9th, 2014 for $318 and official legal transfer of rights on April 30th, 2014.

The winning logo artwork was purchased and paid for by the sole owner of DFL.

Variations of the logo have been created by Defending Utah, under the financing and/or supervision of DFL. All variations which have become in common use are copyrighted by Deseret Family Learning under the Defending Utah brand, and can be found on this website going back to 2013.
