Governor Herbert Sells Utah Out to the Chinese Communists?

by Ben McClintock 26. April 2014 11:54

Back in June of 2011 Utah Governor, Gary Herbert, hosted the National Governors Association Summit.  At the same time, teaming up with Hillary Clinton, Governor Herbert also brought the Chinese Provincial Governors into town so that the governors could make deals (possibly in direct violation of Article 1 Sec 10 paragraph 3 of the US Constitution) with the Chinese Communists.

As the Salt Lake Tribune reported at the time, Communist party controlled newspapers were given press credentials to cover the event, while an independent American news organization known for exposing government corruption was not allowed to cover the event. See more about that in the videos below

Interestingly the assistant editor-in-chief of China Daily, Li Xing, died shortly after the interview about the media black out of a brain hemorrhage.  One of the causes of brain hemorrhage is head trauma.  Were her handlers displeased that she would appear and discuss the media blackout, putting their agenda at risk?  We know it isn't outside of the norm for that murderous regime.

Some might wonder why it would matter if US Governors would be working on business and land deals with the totalitarian regime, if it's good for the bottom line, isn't that promoting economic prosperity for us all and promoting "Capitalism" over state controlled economies?  Surprisingly, this mindset has its roots in Marxism.

"According to Marxist doctrine, a human being is primarily an economic creature. In other words, his material well-being is all important; his privacy and his freedom are strictly secondary. The Soviet constitution reflects this philosophy in its emphasis on security: food, clothing, housing, medical care - the same things that might be considered in a jail. The basic concept is that the government has full responsibility for the welfare of the people and , in order to discharge that responsibility, must assume control of all their activities. It is significant that in actuality the Russian people have few of the rights supposedly "guaranteed" to them in their constitution, while the American people have them in abundance even though they are not guaranteed." -Secretary of Agriculture, Ezra Taft Benson, The Proper Role of Government

If we are focusing our priorities on economic welfare over liberty, we are embracing Marxist ideology. You will notice this in Trotskyites of our day who ridicule those that oppose government programs such as wiretapping, drones and the Patriot act, urging instead to focus on economics as "bread and butter" issues.

Who are the Chinese Communists of our day, and are they really as bad as Socialist/Communist regimes of the past?

Mao Tse-tung. was a Chinese Communist revolutionary and the founding father of the People's Republic of China, which he governed as Chairman of the Communist Party of China from its establishment in 1949 until his death. His Marxist-Leninist theories, military strategies and political policies are collectively known as Maoism.  Mao was responsible for the death of at least 45 million of his own countrymen.  The leaders of Communist China continue to torture and kill millions of its own people to this day.

The Chinese government has a long history of abusing its people. Tibetan monk, Sonam Dorje, recounts, “We were handcuffed, then they would beat us with a rubber tube filled with sand,” he recalled. “On average we are continuously detained in solitude for about 28 days to a month at a time.”

Handcuffed so tightly, and for so long, this prisoner's arm grew around his chains

In further testimony, Sonam Dorje said,

“Even after the interrogations we would be taken back to our cells where we were tortured once more. They would regularly tie our hands and legs apart and then they would hit us with an electric baton. Most of time they hit us with iron tongs,”

Additionally, if this wasn't bad enough, according to a Washington Times report from June 2, 2009, every 2.4 seconds a woman in China undergoes a forced abortion due to China's one child policy. No matter your position on abortion, everyone should see the horror of forced abortions.  That is 35,000 a day, 12,775,000 a year, 127,750,000 forced abortions since 2001.

This mother was dragged away to have her forced abortion perpetrated on her because she did not have a birth permit.  Both her and her child were murdered in the forced abortion

Not only is the Communist Chinese government a threat to its own people, it is working to bring their style of tyranny to the world. Many publications over the years have documented the fact that the Chinese are spying on the US.  Joel Brenner , who served as the U.S. National Counterintelligence Executive from 2006 to 2009, said, "The Chinese espionage threat has been relentless recently”, and as the Associated Press reported, “Stolen information about the space shuttle and technical data about the capabilities of the U.S. Navy's nuclear-powered submarines have also been passed along, as has simulation software used to help train fighter pilots.”   Additionally, former U.S. counterintelligence chief Michelle Van Cleave told CBS, “The Chinese are the biggest problem we have with respect to the level of effort that they’re devoting against us versus the level of attention we are giving to them,”

Most of the analysts who discussed with The New American the effectiveness of law enforcement and counterintelligence agreed that the U.S. government was not doing enough to counter the threat.

Why is the U.S. government not doing more to stop Chinese espionage?  Possible motives come together as we look at the actions of the Chinese government and that of U.S. government officials all over the country, along with the recent developments of the Nevada cattle rancher, Clive Bundy among other business and land deals.  However, before we get into that, let’s look further into what China is doing militarily that would cause such concern over their espionage activities.

The June 2005 cover article for The Atlantic magazine was entitled, “How we would fight China”.  It claimed, “The American military contest with China in the Pacific will define the twenty-first century.”

This video tribute to the “Peoples Liberation Army”, shows how serious the Chinese are about this conflict

Like a game of chess, the Chinese Communists are not just focusing on building up their military and spying on us to gain greater military advantage; they are also working on getting strongholds or “beachheads” all over our country along with routes to get there.

Human Events reported, Red China is investing heavily in developing deep-water ports in Mexico to bring an unprecedented volume of containers into the U.S. along the emerging NAFTA SuperHighway. This move signals China’s emergence as the unexpected economic winner in the North American Union free market.

Many are familiar with the nicknamed “NAFTA Superhighway” that ran through Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, etc, but what many, even here in Utah, are unaware of is the Canamex corridor that goes right through our own state.

The NAFTA Corridors are strategically placed all across the country, with two of their point of origins being in Manzanillo, Mexico.

Following the Canamex, starting in Mexico, and winding its way through Nevada, where a Chinese Communist Party controlled company have bought land, we find our way to Utah, where in June of 2011, Communist Party leaders from each of the Chinese provinces, by invitation of the team-up of Governor Gary Herbert and then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, holding a simultaneous National Governors Association conference.

The idea that Governor Herbert didn’t know about the American reporters ban from the conference is false according to an insider source of Defending Utah.  Either way, the fact remains that the National Governors Association did know, and blocked American reporters while inviting and giving full access to propagandists from the Communist Chinese government, and Governor Herbert led the conference and went to China to arrange unconstitutional trade deals with the dictatorship, all in the name of “economic(s)” and “creating jobs”.

And now, in the name of prosperity, we go from Utah to Idaho along the strategic path laid out by our sworn foreign and domestic enemies. Idaho Commerce Secretary, Don Dietrich, said, “The Chinese are looking for a beachhead in the United States.” And the ‘Idaho Statesmen’ says, “Idaho is ready to give them one.”

What is a “beachhead”?  Webster’s Dictionary defines it as, “An area on hostile shore occupied to secure further landing of troops and supplies.”

We have the Idaho Commerce Secretary saying the Chinese are looking to occupy Idaho land as an occupied military area, and he’s more than willing to give it to them.  In fact, Peoples Liberation Army controlled company HOKU is located in what appears to be a strategic location along the Canamex corridor in Pocatello, Idaho. We also have companies controlled by the Peoples Liberation Army located from beginning to end of this corridor.  Is it merely a coincidence that a nation that has declared us a military enemy, that spies on our military as well as one of the largest perpetrators of corporate espionage is setting up “beachheads” up and down a highway system that was originally called a “defense highway” that were designed as a way to easily allow military transports to cross the country?  It just seems awfully convenient.

In addition to inviting all of the Chinese provincial governors to Utah to make similar deals with the Communist Chinese, Utah governor Gary Herbert has also been on the forefront of making unconstitutional treaties with the Communists not only when they came to Utah, but in the governors previous visit to the brutal dictatorship.

Although Chinese firms have recently pulled out of projects in both Arizona and Nevada, it does not mean they have not and are not (as we document) working to develop strategic “beachheads” that connect to us here in Utah, and across the country. We are working on an investigation that will blow the lid off of this fact and its link to the Bundy’s that few have discovered, which will be released soon.

As was pointed out earlier in our report, putting economics above human liberty is a trait of all would be tyrants.

This was something we once understood in America.  During and after the Second World War, American companies that collaborated with the Nazi’s faced prosecution.  Even as recently as the late 1990’s American companies were being held accountable for putting economics above human liberty.

Will we return to our foundations and return our focus to freedom, or will we turn ourselves over to the most brutal form of slavery in an effort to gain some so called economic prosperity?  This is a bipartisan betrayal.  Think right and wrong, not right and left.
