Your “First Freedoms” are first for a reason.
Consider this question? Why are political parties not mentioned in the constitution? Why do people go there first when they want to fix problems in the system? Is that the right place to go? The way the founders intended us to solve problems is not through political parties, but through learning how to exercise our first freedoms. Speech, Press, Assembly and Redress. All these freedoms are foundational tools in support of Nullification. And as we’ve taught many times, Nullification keeps the constitution alive. There’s no escaping this natural-law-based truth.
When you don’t feel the immediate impact of tyranny it’s hard to be motivated to defend liberty. But rest assured that the wheels of tyranny are always turning slowly and therefore the wheels of liberty must always be turning as well. When you think “all is well” there’s always a scam you’re missing somewhere because evil never stops, it only hides better. We the people can keep liberty alive if everyone dedicated just 1% of our time on average to maintaining liberty at the local level. And I don’t mean politics, I mean #1 educating yourself, #2 educating your neighbor and #3 for those who feel called: learning to redress grievances through local action. The first two items are required to live in a free society. The third is left up to those that hear a calling to do a little more. At Defending Utah and the American Committees Association we have laser focused resources to accomplish all of these and mentor you through the process.
We must not remain ignorant or our ignorance will be used against us.
