On August 24th, 2020, Defending Utah founder Enoch Moore gave the following speech to respond to a community that was asking seemingly difficult questions like these:
– Can they really force our children to wear masks and get tested?
– Can they really shut down our businesses?
– Can they really limit gatherings to only ten people?
– Are the people law breakers for not following mandates?
Defending Utah sought to help the community understand how they were losing their country and what they could do about it.
In this short speech you’ll hear the basic constitutional foundations on how the founders intended people to organize against tyranny.
An introduction to Committees of Safety.
Congress shall make no law … prohibiting … the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Spot on! Thank you Mr. Moore. I wish we had more people speaking the truth like this across the country. Sadly, It seems even the best voices are still afraid to repeat principles which our nation and constitution and liberty have been built upon. We’ve been frightened into feeling and thinking that to oppose the will of the state is wrong and makes us dangerous, when that is exactly what we must do to survive. If evil overcomes us, we deserve the fate we capitulated to. I hope that will not be the case.
Thanks for your comments. It’s ironic because opposing the will of the state when the state is breaking the law is very simply upholding the law.
